They're wonderful. Please, I' have a question, wich is de name of teh manufacturer of the miniatures; I'm seeking korean miniatures and I don't find a good range of miniatures.
They are Alain Touller which is a small manufacturer in the south of France. The sculptor is more of an artist than an actual manufacturer. Supposedly stock is very hard to get and the only online distributor was Campaign Game Miniatures in Spain. I see that they are no longer listed on their site. I got mine from a custom made DBA Army pack from Time Portal Hobbies. Here are their listing from an old update from there website. This is the only place that I have seen Alain Touller figures listed.
I know from Alain Touller's miniatures and how hard are to find; Dermot from Campaign miniatures told me once that was very difficult for him to obtain them.
Well, I think that a little morphing it's in my way to recreate a korean army ;).
Great painting job Tony!! I have never seen Alain Touller's figures unpainted. I think they are very good. I'm wondering if one of the cataphract figures is fitted with an all way-round square plated helmet. Do you have some good photos of unpainted figures? Never considered building an army with Rudy Nelson's 3 Kingdom's Koreans? These I have seen. They are very detailed, even unpainted. These are available now from The Quartermaster (Falconfigures.com) Perhaps you have more info on 3 Kingdom warriors and their armour?
Painting wargame miniatures since 1985, I am very slow as I can get very detailed and am a proponent of Quality vs. Quantity. Mostly a WW2 gamer, I have gotten sucked into building armies for DBA since September of 2004. All of the figures you see here use a "layering" technique. Each color has anywhere between 4 to 7 layers of colors. There is no washing, dipping, or drybrushing on the models.

This is one of the latest Shilla finds. Might be of some interest.
Greetings
