The Polybian Roman Army arrayed. This army consists of 15mm Old Glory figures.

The Cavalry General in all of his glory.

Italian Allied Cavalry make up the other Cv stand. The figures were cast with bulging eyes, which meant that I had to paint the pupils and all.
The Consul and his Italian Cavalry.
The first three units of blade are Hastati with linen armor with bronze pectorals and white shields.

The next three units of blade are the Principes with mail armor, white tunics, and red shields.

Hi. I just wanted to complement you on the beauty of these figures. I've been interested an Ancient warfare all my life and am a keen hobbyist. Somehow though I got drawn into Fantasy based miniatures, and since time is at a premium and that is what my hobbyist-friends do, I haven't been able to focus on historically-based subjects.
The day may come however...
Very nicely done figures! I've just resurrected my Punic War 15s and started adding to them and you've given me some inspiration on look and updating my style. Hope fully I'll get my blog up to date soon and post some pics.
Thanks for sharing...
Andy
